An illustrated guide to the pleasure piers of Britain, published by English Heritage on behalf of the National Piers Society. Sparks produced the text design, working closely with the authors to make sure they were happy with the final look and feel of the book. Images supplied were a mixture of author photos and archive materials, so it was important for us to make the best possible use of them within their limitations.
